What is a good neighbor? Well, a neighbor is simply a fellow resident. A "good" neighbor however, is a neighbor of the highest quality. Call it a type of community excellence. The Silver Creek Community Outreach is dedicated to enhancing the quality of our community through the development of personal relationships on a neighbor to neighbor level through a variety of activities and events.

You may have heard of the story of the Good Samaritan. He came across someone who was in desperate need and unable to help himself. The Good Samaritan willingly provided the care that was needed at his own expense. He was someone who dared to be a "good neighbor" even when others refused. The name "Good Samaritan" has become synonymous with those who help others.

The Silver Creek Community Outreach would like to invite you to become a "good neighbor" in this community. A neighbor is anyone we come in contact with in our day to day lives. A "good neighbor" is someone who is willing to recognize a need in others and then do something to help meet that need.
